Louise Bagshawe – Tuesday’s Child

Lucy’s 24 and has a great life until Annoying Victoria, her flat- and best mate’s girlfriend, proposes. Lucy has just lost her job, now it’s her room in the flat she looses and her best mate Ollie is next on the list of losses. If that wasn’t enough, she has to turn her appearance 180 degrees around in order to impress at the new company where she’s given a chance. It’s a dull and boring job except for her gorgeous boss. Experiencing a complete new phase in her life Lucy tries her best to keep everyone satiesfied and meet the expectations … and she scores – in a different than expected, but totally ‚Lucy‘-kind of way.

Great for people who have difficulties in finding the balance between a fun-job and one that actually pays a living.
Also great when you just can’t seem to be able to decide what you want to do with your life while everybody has already three masterplaas for your future.

This books lifts my spirits everytime I read it, it makes me laugh and cry and it’s easy to identify with Lucy ‚cause she’s just like the girl next door.
